nanoteched diesel more practical than biodiesel?

Redherring reported an interesting fund raising for a nanotech startup named Cerion Energy. this company claims their product enables diesel fuel to burn more efficiently in the engine, potentially boosting fuel economy by 10 miles per gallon and reducing soot and sulfur dioxide emissions by 60 percent to 80 percent. so great if it's really true! when all the foresighted venture capitalists and scientists are pouring into bio fuel industry. Cerion energy found a comparable secret weapon.

In order to help readers to understand clearer how biodiesel bring more benefits than petrodiesel, I found following useful graph:

 biodiesel

we can see biodiesel can produce average around 70% pollution less than petrodiesel. if cerion's technology can cut 60% to 80% emission for petrodiesel, so amazing! however, consumers will be trapped in the dilemma: should I use biodiesel or diesel+nanoteched additive or biodiesel+nanoteched additive?

I hope Cerion will not be like Oxonica which makes public disappointed on nanotech.
