  pink tentacle posted an interesting article about QR code application. what's the QR code? wikipedia explains very well. 

  like RFID which can track through the whole supply chain, QR code which contain specific information can direct viewer to the place with more detail information, maybe a website or else. I think it's a very useful potential application, not only for advertisement usage. I think it even can be applied in social networking.

  let's close eyes and pop up this video: we use QR encoder to create QR code with self introduction information and supply/provide information like "I have an iphone for sale" "I want to find friends to Africa" etc, then print it onto obvious area of our clothes(or there is a display screen integrated into our clothes). when we are walking on the street, people wearing a special glasses which can decode the QR code can see our information. then……. everything is easy!

  let's look at olympics medal and torch design for beijing 2008 olympic games. really awesome! 

   I hope chinese designers can do same good job on consuming products. one thing Ｉshould mention is Lenovo's innovation center designs the Olympics torch.
