  What will Intel's fab positively impact on china?

  1) add some employment opportunities

  2) add some taxes

  3) attract IC talents from singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia……. and provide IC technology training for local talents

  what will intel's fab negatively impact on china?

  1) chinese local IC industry will lose more talents

  2) chinese local IC industry will be weaker.

  3) Dalian's house price will soar

  If more and more IDM or foundry giants enter china, things wll be worse. pray for chinese IC industry!

  BTW, Applied materials just announced new investment in xi'an, china. chinese IC industry chain will be overhauled soon.
