  It's an old but still hot topic in the business world. many foreigners who live in china have written many articles in their blogs. I admit some of them have digged out the right way to do business in china. as a local chinese, I have my views. the following listed facts may be a good supplement for businessmen who have great interest in china.

  Fact 1: location matters. no doubt, shanghai, beijing and some big cities have good business infrastructure. they are the first choice for your debut. but I suggest choosing the location based on your business. different location or economy zone has different administrative and tax policy for your business. so making due diligence to make a tradeoff. it's very helpful to speed up your business growth.

  Fact 2: understand localization. don't make your company into a pure chinese company. why are chinese interested in your company? that's because you are a foreign company! in your company, chinese can learn foreign lanuage, can experience foreign culture and have chance to travel abroad. if not, chinese will lose their interest.

  Fact 3: Don't abuse guanxi. in foreigner's mind, guanxi is very very important when doing business in china. but please don't abuse it! guanxi is a kind of relationship debt in chinese society. once someone use his/her guanxi to help you for some business, this people has to owe to others and the debt will never end. I suggest to use it carefully and only use guanxi for very crucial business. it's good for everyone.

  Fact 4: chinese business is like chinese woman. it's quite often foreign man with a chinese girlfriend walk on the street in big cities of china. but in the eyes of chinese people, most of these "chinese girlfriend" are ugly and they are not the first choice for chinese men. if foreigner can understand this different standpoint, I think doing business in china definitely will not be a problem.

  Fact 5: chinese business is global. more and more chinese companies are seeking globalization opportunities. now, foreigner doesn't need to leave your country to do business in china. you can stay at your home and help chinese companies to develop business in your country. it's a good time now. 

  Current china is very open. every chinese is pursuing self capitalism. no one will care about your nationality. chinese business world is cloning western business world. being a conscientious capitalist, you will win in china!
