 Google, the name stands for innovation, inspiration and world trend. but in China, it has nothing to do with those phrases any more. many users and analysts have contributed their widsom to analyze google china's problem. today, I want to shine some lights on it too.

 Wrong Copied strategy

 Google china actually use similiar strategy with google headquarter. all are proud of pursuing as many interesting demo services as possible. google labs is the most important business unit in the company. however, Google china forget one thing: google US didn't start this strategy until they have succeeded in searching technology and ad. market. obviously, google china have not this precondition. in other words, google china need to figure out themselves strategy. I suggest them to put all the resources in one product. google US have lots of valuable products. google china can choose one which can be promoted easily and accepted widely by chinese. with huge money and man power backup, google china definitely can achieve great success in this product.

 Lack of partnership

 Google US often built alliances with other companies. but it's pity google china don't copy this strategy. I have talked about the important role of partnership in business globalization (readers can recall my old entries). in china, google have no difference with any other web startups. for startup, partners is really very helpful for company growth. google china only partnered with Ganji which is a classified information website. google china's purpose is to share their ICP license. I guess google china never take partnership strategy into consideration. and I believe if they can build several alliances, situation will be improved much!

 My bold strategy
   if I am googler, I will think out of the box and operate google china as different way—-franchise. google have tens of meaningful products now. if every product can use franchise model in china, I believe many chinese internet companies will have great passion to be google's franchisers. what will google china do? google china will focus on google's core business, localizing google lab's product and the network integration of all the franchisers. if execution goes smooth, google china will easily replicate US' myth!

 Google china's CMO left. soon, CEO will resign too. in the magnificent building, who can change google china's situation? time will tell us……..
