Creating Apple’s new brand: bizPod+bizTunes

 iPod+iTunes is a magic and very successful biz model in portable player market. I will not analyze why apple succeeded and what apple should do to cope with future competition like Microsoft's zune. here, I want to suggest a new market opportunity to Apple. 

 everyone knows the success story from RIM's blackberry. this case tells us mobile technology can greatly improve business efficiency. in other words, there is a huge market for this kind of product in business field. therefore, I have written an email to Mr. Steve Jobs to talk about this market opportunity. although I didn't get reply, I still believe my insight. so I would like to share my idea with readers. 

 simply saying, I plan to make a product like iPod+iTunes for business man. I call it bizPod+bizTunes. why was I interested in introducing this idea to Apple? I think Apple's technology and excellent product design can put this product into market as soon as possible. this product's biz model is similiar with ipod. the only difference is the content. bizPod provides different product and content for different users. currently I divide users into 2 groups.

 bizPod 1: for normal biz managers

 users can access bizTunes to download, listen or subscribe the biz podcast or biz txt news/articles. these contents are from alliances like business week, new york times etc. the operation is just like iTunes. don't need much work to turn it true.

 bizPod 2: for executive level managers 

 actually I am interested more in this market. firstly, the bizPod itself can evolve into a luxury product for business leaders. secondly, the content can be customized for each company. I would like to emphasize the content. the content is no longer biz news. the content will be real strategic biz information which are analyzed by professional consulting firm like Mckinsey and right biz frame/theory like porter's five forces, BCG matrix, etc. I believe this will help executive make right decision. 

 why am I so interested in business field? I think business users have more loyalty and purchase capability than current iPod consumers. more importantly, I wish bizPod+bizTunes can bring a revolution in business service industry. if this dream is accomplished by Apple, that will be another legend!
