   Not long ago,  a TV news said parents didn't know how to take care their children during the summer holiday because they were worried about children's safty when they went out to work and children stayed at home alone. so I come up with one idea: design a remote monitoring system and use mobile phone to monitor home. it's just like CCTV system to monitor public areas.

I roughly figure out system's modules: home camera module, signal transfer protocol and application software module(including security software). I design 2 working ways:

One: automaticly data sending. you can set how often the home realtime vedio will be transfered to your mobile phone before you go out. when the setting time comes, camera will begin to record home image including your children or your old father&mother. at the same time, the vedio will be transfered immediately to your mobile phone. you just click your phone to accept simplely like answering a phone call. then you decide to stop the transmission and wait for the next turn.

Two: manually gotcha data. first you open the software in your mobile phone, then connect to the home camera system just like dialing a phone number. once home camera receive the signal, data transmission will begin. the left thing will be same.

When the 3G comes, I think it's not difficult to realize this. but I want to emphasize the data security. if others catch your data or make some tricks on your home camera, you will get fake image. so we should make a good design on protecting camera system and data transmission.

Anyway, it's just idea to ignite more brainstorm. I hope this will bring more safty environment for child and old people, especially when young and strong men are not at home!
